-Respond to patients' medical/health problems by referring to their history and carrying out diagnosis, investigation, treatment and referral as appropriate. -Discuss side-effects, best conditions for use, and possible interactions of medication. -Contribute to the delivery of patient services with nurses, technicians, and other medical staff. -Collect, record and maintain patient information, such as medical history, reports and examination results. -Supervise and train medical staff -Accommodate rotating shifts (if any) and work flexible schedules. -Develop personal relationships with patients. -Create patient-specific health programs that make use of historical data. -Monitor and adapt individualized health programs over time. -Schedule and administer follow-up examinations. -Make use of patient health data in medical analyses. -Administering vaccinations. -Perform minor medical operations. -Recommending specialists for treatment outside of their capacity. -Educating patients in health management and disease prevention.
