Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities: • The IT Application specialist role, as a part of the Global Application Management and Support (GAMS) team, will be responsible for the configuration, implementation, and integration of Hexagon’s Smart Plant Materials and related applications within the company to support Engineering, Fabrication & SCM business functions. The ideal candidate should have a good command over Oracle PL/SQL & Oracle Reports development. • The position requires troubleshooting of existing Oracle PL/SQL procedures & packages to ensure the round-the-clock availability of SPMAT system for business users. Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. • Minimum 7 years of experience as an Oracle PL/SQL Developer. • Solid experience in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL including all database objects: Stored procedures, Stored functions, Packages, TYPE Objects, Triggers, cursors, REF cursors, Parameterized cursors, Views, Materialized Views, PL/SQL collections. • Extensive experience with Oracle Reports Development. • Experience in Oracle Apex -BIR platform. • knowledge of key Oracle performance related features such as Query Optimizer, Execution Plans and Indexes. • Functional knowledge of Supply Chain Management processes. • Ability to quickly learn new tool's, new technologies, and current industry standards. • Ability to facilitate planning meetings, workshops, reviews and retrospectives. • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. • Experience working in an IT Application support environment with SLA's • Experience in working with agile teams (Scrum or Kanban methods), using JIRA, MS TFS or other developer collaboration tools.
