Directs the quality control/quality assurance and technical service functions of the entire precast production and installation Supervises a team of QA/QC Engineers, Supervisors, and Laboratory Technicians Determines disposition of finished product by collecting, classifying, analyzing, and interpreting production and quality data; judging product acceptability in comparison to specifications Interacts with customers, vendors, sales, and production, delivery, and execution personnel as required to investigate and resolve product quality issues Determines acceptability of rework by conducting inspections and physical tests of the reworked product Maintains quality assurance operations by following quality assurance policies and procedures; reporting needed changes Ensure manufacturing processes comply with both national and international standards of production Conduct surveys to identify customer requirements and ensure they are being met by established quality standards Prepare and present reports to update upper management on quality activities Maintain proper records of the quality test, procedures, and standards Approve compliant products and reject defective ones
