Job Descriptions

Reports to Head of Engineering Confers with architects and/or engineers, a draftsman initially gains an understanding of the scope and requirements of a project Prepares and revises engineering drawings, shop drawings, details, sections, charts, and similar documents as directed Utilizes both manual drawing skills as wells as computer-based application, such as automated computer-assisted drafting Creates both two-dimensional and three-dimensional renderings of the project if required Makes simple but professional computation through the use of tables, charts, etc. Follows a discussion of any alterations that need to occur Makes red mark up and reflect then to as-built drawings, isometric layout as per Clients requirements and standard specification Prepares bar schedules and other construction notes required per manhour Prepares Material take-off and bill of materials Acquires further knowledge by attending training courses and or seminars required by the Company With conceptualization skills to visualize finished drawings and assigned projects. Ability to generate complete discipline drawings with minimal Engineer's supervision. Leads the team of Designers Fully aware of the BIM process and capable of performing Inter-Discipline checks and coordination with all other disciplines to deliver clash-free 3D model
