Diagnostic Technicians are responsible for finding and explaining a vehicle's issues, as well as planning maintenance and repairs. Maintain vehicle functional condition by listening to operator complaints (described through a manager); conducting inspections; diagnosing functionality issues; repairing diagnosed mechanical failures in a timely manner; repairing multiple system issues including electrical, cooling, braking, HVAC, steering and other system malfunctions; replacing parts and components Understand and use standard diagnostic tools such as code readers and shop software programs to maintain vehicle records by recording service and repairs Make any and all repairs necessary to vehicles including remove and replace of major component
