Person will be responsible for handling all laundry operations, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing clothes and linens according to established standards and procedures. Job Responsibilities: Operate Laundry Equipment: Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently. • Sort and Pre treat Clothes: Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and washing instructions. Pre-treat stains and heavily soiled areas as needed. Wash and Dry Clothes: Load and unload laundry machines with appropriate amounts of detergent and fabric softener. Monitor machine cycles to ensure proper washing and drying times. • Fold and Iron: Fold and stack clean laundry neatly according to size, type, and customer preferences. Iron clothes and linens as required, ensuring they are wrinklefree and presentable. Inspect Quality: Inspect laundered items for stains, tears, or any damage. Report any issues to the supervisor and take appropriate action to remedy them. Maintain Cleanliness: Keep laundry area clean and organized at all times. Dispose of lint and debris from machines and floors regularly. Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries. Handle Customer Orders: Receive and process customer orders accurately and efficiently. Ensure that items are returned to customers in a timely manner and according to their specifications. Assist with Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies such as detergent, bleach, and fabric softener. Notify the supervisor when supplies need to be replenished. Adhere to Health and Safety Regulations: Follow all health and safety guidelines to prevent the spread of infections and maintain a hygienic work environment.
