Job Descriptions

Responsibility: •Perform detailed design to refine the required system solution for both Dimetra and Third-party systems (NOC systems) to comply to contractual requirements. •Lead the generation of system specific technical documentation. •Work with product groups (System Design Support, System Integration Centre, Upgrade Operations, Training Dept, etc.) to ensure equipment is available to meet project timescale. •Interface with ESSC (European System Support Centre) for trouble ticketing, assist troubleshooting and upon resolution closing the ticket. •Placing Equipment orders on completion of Detailed Design Reviews. •Placing equipment orders for Run rate orders. •Providing guidance to field engineers to implement the designed solution. •Software load and configuration of TETRA systems. •System-Test according to customer requirements. •Troubleshooting and debugging of TETRA systems and other digital communication systems. •Interact with customers and third-party vendors to support integration and factory acceptance tests. •Answering and educating the clients on issues ranging from features, specifications and functionality to integration and installation. •Willing to travel as project needs require. Understand that projects work to deadlines, not office hours. •Work with the Motorola FPM (Field Project Manager) for day-by-day task assignment and coordination of Field Engineers and contractors. Skills: •Experience in LAN and WAN technologies, network design, network management etc. •Strong understanding of TCP/IP, subnetting, routing, access control lists, firewalls, VPN, NAT and network traffic analysis, Experience in LAN and WAN technologies, network design, network management etc.
