Paramount to success within this varied role will include: - Preparation of highway designs to relevant local standards. - Leading a team of engineers and designers to develop designs. - Development of team skills in BIM - i.e. Civil 3D and Infraworks. - Coordinating internal multi-discipline design teams working on Transportation, projects to ensure cost effective, quality and timely input. - Managing external consultants to ensure cost effective, quality and timely input. - Preparing Transportation design programs based on detailed work breakdown structures for projects. - Preparing cost and time based progress reports for design projects. - Preparing and presenting project reports and presentations for internal and external clients. Requirements To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envisage that you will bring a minimum of 10 years' career experience partnered with a Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline. - Membership of a transportation professional institution and working towards professional accreditation of either IEng, CEng or P.E. - Excellent report writing and communication skills. - Extensive experience using AASHTO and Abu Dhabi Highways Design Standards. - Ability to use Microsoft office including PowerPoint and Project. - Abu Dhabi and Civil 3D experience is essential
