- Strong operational background at management level and a thorough understanding of the building and construction industry and processes. - Have the ability to develop and nurture client relationships both internally and externally. - Ability to develop budgetary estimates for construction and site improvement projects. - Strong knowledge of construction code, materials, processes and equipment. - Experience with concrete repair, restoration and replacement. - Ability to manage construction projects (large and small), direct construction crews, and interact with architects, designers and mechanical/electrical engineers in a professional manner. - Ability to lead pre-bid walk through and explain the scope and requirements of construction projects. - Ability to supervise employees in completion of assignments and long-term projects. - Ability to plan and prioritize projects. - Ability to carry out verbal and written directions and to communicate them to other employees. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Must possess the desire and ability to work cooperatively, effectively and responsibly in a multicultural environment.
