Job Descriptions

• Assume responsibility and represent Design Department for all aspects related to engineering • Provide leadership in all relevant Department functions • Lead external & internal coordination pertinent to infrastructure inception & design • Review comments / recommend acceptance or otherwise of related consultants submission • Comprehensive responsibility for management and control related functions in in-house projects, including detailed scope definition and initiation, work progress and completion and staff management • Liaise with utilities providers and other stakeholders • Performance of actual design duties when directed • Performance of other related duties as per management instructions • Supervise and control the activities of assigned personnel including allocating work and determining priorities • Supervise a team of Engineers responsible for review of designs • To assist in initiating new work and preparation of design briefs to consultants • Provision of technical advise • Working knowledge of written and/or spoken Arabic would be an advantageous • Overseeing/preparing design reports, management or any other reports as directed
